Revert "net: bridge: use DEV_STATS_INC()"

This reverts commit ad8d39c7 which is
commit 44bdb313 upstream.

It breaks the build, as the change it depends on was reverted due to it
breaking the ABI.  If this is needed in the future, it can come back in
an abi-safe way.
