Revert "media: mc: Expand MUST_CONNECT flag to always require an enabled link"

This reverts commit e2c545b8 which is
commit b3decc5c upstream.

It breaks the Android kernel abi and can be brought back in the future
in an abi-safe way if it is really needed.
